Look for A new and improved ARTA website - soon!! In order to enhance communications and improve membership services, ARTA is designing a brand new website. NEW features that will be included are: a members’ only section with high encryption security, membership applications online, membership fee payment and renewals online, as well as a new bold look and greater compatibility with most web browsers.
Many ARTA members have asked for the above features and the ARTA Communications/Technology Committee has been working with Stride Management Inc. toward meeting the needs of the membership. Of course, information on ARTA activities, links to ARTA Branches, News & Views Archives, etc. will still be available.
We encourage you to
check the ARTA site (
www.albertarta.org ) often to see the new features as they come

CRTA Steppin' Out 2008 - ANOTHER HUGE SUCCESS
There is a fever sweeping through
our ranks and it is called "STEPPIN' OUT". The latest
outbreak was witnessed at the Dalton's Convention Center in
Calgary on April 29 and it resulted in 250 colleagues
succumbing to a euphoria caused by great food, twenty
outstanding presenters and a healthy dose of camaraderie.
It concluded with a chaser of folk songs and a lot of door
prizes.
The Calgary Retired Teachers' Association is also partnering with the Government of Canada - New Horizons Program and providing ongoing sessions for retirees through the New Dimensions in Retirement 2008 offerings.
